What you get

Three modes on the live tool: Screen, Screen + camera, and Camera. Turn the microphone on or off. Turn tab or system audio on when the browser share prompt allows it. Press Record, wait through the 3-2-1 countdown, then pause, resume, or stop. Save the video to your device as MP4 or WebM (formats named on the product page).

The recording never leaves your device. There is nothing to upload and nothing for the site to stamp.

Audio limits (stay honest)

Mic is on by default. Computer sound only arrives if you enable it in the browser share prompt: share a tab with "Also share tab audio," or share the entire screen with "Share with system audio." Recent Chrome and Edge can take system audio on Mac and Windows. A single window cannot share sound. Safari does not capture computer audio. If you start without system or tab audio when you need it, the recorder warns so you can pick again.

Optional on-device transcript

After a take, you can transcribe in the same tab. The tool downloads a small speech-recognition model (Whisper) to the browser on first use and runs it on-device. The audio never leaves the computer. That is optional; the free no-watermark download works without it.

Phone honesty

Screen recording needs a desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari). Phones do not expose a screen-capture API to websites. Camera-only works on most phone browsers.
